Student Ambassador Program: Summer 2025
Join us as we pilot and test new digital tools
What is the student ambassador program?
The Common Good AI (CGAI) student ambassador program is a 10-week volunteer opportunity for students to help us research and problem solve using a new AI powered, collective reasoning technology. Specifically, we are inviting students to participate in a series of virtual ideation sessions about higher education and post graduation employment opportunities.
What are the requirements?
We are looking for an ideologically diverse cohort of college students, or recent graduates, from a multitude of backgrounds to help us test new AI technology. The criteria include:
Currently enrolled in a college or university OR have graduated in the last year
Be at least 18 years old
Contribute 3-5 hours a week
Engage in good faith discussions with people who may disagree with you
Provide feedback and have a willingness to use new technology
Available for weekly calls Thursday at 2pm ET (June-August)
What we offer you?
This is a volunteer opportunity, so we don’t offer financial compensation, though we provide:
Service hours (3-5 hours per week for 10 weeks)
Professional development lectures series: Attend virtual sessions from Common Good AI staff and founders,
Learning: An opportunity to engage with cutting edge AI tech and learn about the rapidly evolving civic tech and democracy ecosystem
Contribute to new thinking: To promote the application and use of civic tech to foster democracy and local community engagement
