White Paper on CrowdSmart Architecture

Common Good AI is a new nonprofit organization dedicated to building common ground for the common good. Our vision is for people to co-create breakthrough solutions by transforming how communities solve problems together. With a new form of human-powered AI, we foster civic engagement by helping people collaboratively innovate using deliberative digital tools to empower groups of any size to debate ideas, identify shared goals, and find an actionable path forward together. 

Common Good AI uses CrowdSmart as a tool to promote civic engagement and community problem solving. The CrowdSmart system was originally tested on predicting business start-up momentum. To explain the technology’s architecture, the paper included here explores how the tool was used with start-ups.
